GET ME ROLLIN' CHALLENGE

The challenge

Did you know that you don't need to be a racer to benefit from a little basic training? It will make your rides more fun, comfortable, confident and it doesn't need to take hours in the gym!

We've designed this challenge to be fun; with short workouts (max 20min) that are easier to fit amongst your busy schedule. The idea is to do several short workouts more often, rather than one or two big training sessions that you will dread because they make you feel depleted of energy.

The short workouts are designed for beginners so even if you haven't got experience, you're welcome to join us. There will be a video for you to follow for each session, you won't need any fancy gear meaning you can do all the workouts from home or wherever you feel like training. We do recommend having a yoga mat or camping mat as it will be a little bit more comfortable but it's not essential.

What is the challenge?

To make this more fun and more than just yet another workout program, we've decided to challenge you to complete as many of the workouts as you can.
Every week, there will be 10 short training sessions scheduled:

  • 6 mobility and stretching sessions,
  • 3 strength sessions,
  • 1 bike ride.

This challenge will repeat with different exercises every 4-weeks. The exercises will progressively get more challenging over the months to keep your strength progressing. We encourage you to continue exercising during the season to reap more of the benefits! And if you commit enough each month, you get a sweet discount as a prize 😉

How does it work?

Each session completed on the scheduled day will bring you 10 points, sessions completed on a different day will bring you 5 points and every missed session will give you 0 points. The goal is to complete all the workouts to reach 400 points and get the big top prize at the end of the 4 weeks!

Once you register, you will get your own access to our training app where you'll find the schedule and the videos for the workouts. Every time you complete a workout, the app will automatically tick off your session. Join in with your mates and compete against each other.

What's there to win?

  • 1st prize: Accumulate 400 pts over the duration of the challenge.
    Win 1hr 1-on-1 skill session with your Coach (worth $100)
  • 2nd prize: Get anywhere between 399 and 280pts over the duration of the challenge
    Win a free week of the Get me Rollin' training for the following month (pay $16 weekly instead of $20 weekly).

Note: More than one 1st prize can be won per month, but it can only be claimed once per person. 2nd prize can be redeemed several months in a row, as long as you meet the conditions to win it!
